Upcoming trip to India

Blessings to you from Haiti!

It has already been 2 months since our move! We are learning the culture and adjusting a little better every day. Jabez and the girls are making progress with their Creole tutor. The Haitian people are thrilled when they try to communicate. Please believe with us for a good house for our family.

After Gloria introduced the Character Development method and trained the teachers of our K-12 school, it is exciting to see them implementing it in their classrooms. Every Friday morning, Gloria presents the word of God as she integrates the character trait of the month in her preaching at Ecole Nireja. We are believing God for their salvation and transformation.

Jabez is involved in preaching in our mother church and also at the Bible school. Despite many challenges they face on a daily basis, the girls are not complaining. Glorianna is having sewing lessons locally and Theresa is taking piano lessons from Mrs. Parker from the United States via Whatsapp video call. Currently, Jeremiah is in the United States, attending YWAM in Tyler, TX. Please continue to pray for our children as they are growing through the changes.

Our Ministry is India is very active and Jabez is leaving for India on December 4 for a mission trip. Our desire is to continue to encourage the 40 pastors that are laboring in some of the most difficult places. We plan to bless the widows of the churches with sari (Indian clothing), gifts for our children from the Home and our school. Also, there will be evangelistic crusades and preaching of the gospel at different remote villages.

We need to raise at least $12,000 dollars for traveling costs and the different projects. Please prayerfully consider contributing to this upcoming trip. Without your generous giving and prayer support, we will not be able to accomplish the task which God has entrusted to us. Thank you for your partnership in advancing the Kingdom of God in Haiti and India.

May God bless you and your loved ones! Please send your prayers requests. We take very seriously the prayer requests that come to us and we will lift them up before the throne of Grace. We love and miss you all!

Haiti Hurricane Matthew Outreach

Dear friends/Partners,

As I was listening on the phone to my father in Haiti describing the devastation and the pain of my brothers and sisters in Christ, my heart broke. Many farms are completely destroyed. People lost their homes. My dad, Bishop Gabriel Molien oversees 27 churches all over Haiti. We cannot get in touch with some of our pastors because the cell towers are destroyed. Please help me to bring some relief to the Haitian people. They need food, water and the basic necessities. Our ministry has been active in Haiti the past decade. We are a non-profit 501 C 3 organization. If you’re considering giving to disaster relief in Haiti, please consider our ministry.

Love and Hope accepts donations via PayPal. A PayPal account is NOT required to pay via credit card:

All the funds will go directly to the people of Haiti.

Thank you.

Report On Haiti/Upcoming Trips

Dear friends/supporters.

The Rapaka Family along with the Team had a successful and powerful Missions Trip to Haiti from August 16-26. Altogether, more than 20 suitcases, with about 1,000 pounds worth of clothes, shoes, candy, and supplies were able to be given out to Haitian people in the community.

We participated in the annual Convocation where more than 27 Churches gather together for a week of services and celebration. We were able to give money to about 30 Pastors and also their Wives, who receive no salary and serve the Lord and the people of Haiti no matter the sacrifice.

The Pastors and their Wives also received clothes and toiletries. We set up a make-shift clothing shop in the orphanage, where we gave out more than 700 pieces of clothing to over 200 people from the congregations, who were greatly appreciative.

We blessed the poor children with uniforms and textbooks for this academic year. The team was also able to host a two-day camp on purity for the youth and young adults. About 200 youth came and were well fed during the camp.

Thank you for partnering with Love and Hope to expand the Kingdom of God on earth.

We also blessed HIV/AIDS victims with rice and other food items. IMG_6316 We visited four different villages and preached the Gospel. The team conducted Gospel meetings in Jabez’s hometown, where 5 people accepted Christ. IMG_6378This year, a pastors’ conference was held for the pastors and their wives. As customary, we hosted a Christmas banquet for the children’s home and Love and Hope School staff. God has blessed Love and Hope School with a computer lab with four brand new computers. Jabez and the team encountered some opposition during this trip but by God’s grace the issues were resolved

In March, 2016, Love and Hope Ministries will be celebrating another mile stone in its history, i.e., its 12th year anniversary. Additionally, there is a major change in our lives in 2016. We are going to be involved in full-time missions work. We are planning to double the mission’s trips this year. Here after we are planning four trips; two trips to India and two trips to Haiti. We are also embarking on a building project in India. We are planning to build a two story building. The first floor will house the children’s home, while the second floor will be used for Love and Hope Global Impact Church. In addition, we are trusting God for a piece of land for Love and Hope Ministries in Haiti. Please believe God with us for our family needs as well as our ministry needs in 2016.

We sincerely thank you for your faithfulness and loving support to Love and Hope Ministries and the Rapakas for the past 12 years. Please continue to partner with us and support us with your prayers and finances so that we can continue the work which God has called us to do.
